Coping With Being A Senior Citizen

Yes, I’m 62.  When I shave my face and head people are surprised that I’m 62.  I’m only a few pounds over my basic training weight from when I was in the army over 42 years ago and I still have most of my teeth.

The only ache I have is in my right arm.  I attribute the ache to all the typing and data entry I do in computer school at the Braddock Employment And Training Center.  My right arm is always tired so I’d better go to the VA Hospital and have it evaluated.

The only other ailment I have is the gout; but since I’ve cut way back on my beer consumption (I only had two at Hemingway’s and have no beer in the apartment) I haven’t had an attack lately.  If the arm checks out and if I watch my beer consumption I should be in all right physical shape.  If I get this job that I’m interviewing for tomorrow I’ll be in much better financial shape.

With a good job I might even be able to entice some woman to deal with me.  Wouldn’t that be something?

GHH

I guess I have to thank my parents if I don’t look my age; but now I’m trying to take better care of myself.
