Yes, the Old Soldier broke out the crock pot today and threw in several turkey wings. I didn’t even pull off the skin first. It will be easier to pull off the skin once the wings are done; and then I’ll season them, too.
The right knee is almost 100% and I’ve put aside money for karaoke Friday night. I have a six-pack of beer in the refrigerator and this morning I found out the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette has been nominated for an award; but if I put a link on this blog for people to vote the vote doesn’t count. I guess the sponsors of the award don’t want people gaming the system.
For the past few days I’ve been reading through some of the information mailed to me about Medicare. I should sign up for Medicare by October 25. I have to make some important decisions.
And the beat goes on.
