Have you made the decision to be a short story writer? It is a decision that should not be made lightly. I’m talking about a person who is serious about writing good short stories. Not the person who is unsure. Because being serious implies several things.
- The writer will constantly work to improve grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- The writer will seek out and read the best short stories being published.
- The writer will read articles that will help to improve his or her understanding of the short story.
- The writer will become active in a supportive writing community.
- The writer will work toward publication by submitting his or her work.
