Think Of Your Flash Fiction As A Very Short Play

There are good reasons for thinking of your flash fiction story as a very short play.  A play is a drama.  A play has dialogue.  A play is about something that needs a resolution.

You can’t beat that with a stick!

Hello, everyone.  It’s the Old Soldier blogging away.  It has turned out to be a lovely, warm, sunny afternoon in Pittsburgh.  I’m sitting at my workstation eating a small bowl of greens with hot peppers and garlic and sipping on a small bottle of Pepsi Wild Cherry.  The apartment building is very quiet.  It’s a great day for blogging, writing or just walking around the neighborhood.
