Oh, yes, happiness. What an elusive word. What is happiness for the flash fiction writer and will he or she ever find it?
Hello, my brother and sister bloggers, readers and writers. It’s another sunny day in Pittsburgh and the high will be around 60. It’s perfect football weather. The Steelers play the Ravens in Pittsburgh later today. It is now around 11:00 AM and the blogging day has begun.
The Old Soldier has been in good spirits for several days now. Yes, I’m happy. One of the things that has contributed to my happiness is the fact that the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette seems to have passed an important benchmark. It now averages well over 100 hits every day. And although I edit and publish this blog I’m really just an old-fashion flash fiction writer.
So, yes, a flash fiction writer can find happiness. It’s all in how you work it.
