And then there is flash fiction.
Or to be more specific, this flash fiction magazine. So far this month the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette has gotten around 1,600 visits. That’s not bad. That means that the magazine has a good shot at reaching 4,000 visits by the end of the month. That’s nothing to brag about, but it does mean the Old Soldier is marching in the right direction.
I just have to keep in mind what the mission of the magazine is: to serve aspiring writers and to inform and entertain its readers.

Hello hello hello, my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and my Flash Fiction Fanatics. It’s around 10:00 AM and the blogging day has begun. The sun is shinning and the high will be around 56 today. The Old Soldier can’t wait to do some breathing and stretching exercises, to shower and to get out into this glorious sunshine for a nice walk.
Then to get back to his workstation and to get back to work. This is the Old Soldier blogging out of Pittsburgh.

[...] The Old Soldier spent another night on the sofa watching war movies on the retro television station and thinking of life and flash fiction. I saw Patton, The Longest Day and Tora! Tora! Tora! My personal life has recently been full of filling out forms for Medicare. I also finally got on the phone the office that deals with Veterans Benefits and the papers that I have to fill out for my military pension are on their way by snail mail.Source: pittsburghflashfictiongazette.com [...]
