I wrote this post at the bar of Del’s Bar and Italian Restaurant in Bloomfield in Pittsburgh. Del’s had karaoke yesterday because today is Thanksgiving Day. And the bar will have karaoke tomorrow as usual.
If my Giant Eagle pension check arrives tomorrow, I’ll probably be at Del’s tomorrow for karaoke.
I’m the only one in the bar; but Anita, the bartender, says that the dinning rooms have over 200 reservations today. Beyond the big window, sunshine pours down on Liberty Avenue.
Football is on the HD TVs.
Well, the Old Soldier’s life revolves around blogging and karaoke. I’ll be glad when my military pension kicks in. I sent off my paperwork a couple of weeks ago. It’s nice to have just enough money to pursue your passions whether you can make money at them or not.
