The Occupy Movement, Writing And The Ebook

Editor’s Note: This post could not be published until after 9:00 AM because of computer problems.

The Old Soldier is getting an early start.  I slept in my bed, as opposed to sleeping on the sofa, and got several hours of solid sleep.  I have a cup of lima beans and ham hocks heating up on the stove.  I’ve done my breathing and stretching exercises and I’m at the workstation and it’s not even 9:00 AM.

Spank my bare bottom and call me a nudist.

How’s everyone doin’?  What adventures will we share today?  There are reports in the media that an Occupy Congress group recently marched in Washington DC just to remind Congress that the Occupy Movement is not going away.  If the movement can survive the winter, it will probably revive during the summer just in time for the elections of 2012.

The Old Soldier is always talking about “show don’t tell” fiction and about “using words to paint a picture that tells a story.”  Well, I’ve published an ebook that contains the best examples of this revolutionary method of writing.  Download your copy of Compressionism: The Pittsburgh Stories.

Just go to the Front Page and you will see a book review.  The ebook can be downloaded from the book review.  Be sure to save the file when you download the book.

That’s all for this post.  I’m going to eat my lima beans, shower and get dressed and see what the day has in store for us.

Read.  Study.  Write.
