The PFF Gazette Pays Its First Flash Fiction Writer

The Old Soldier is jumping the gun; but as soon as his PayPal account receives its new funds, a new guest writer will be paid his $10.00 fee for publication in the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.  The story of this guest writer should be up this week.

Also, the Old Soldier is looking forward to a new article by our own Love Doctor, who is paid staff.  I like saying that, “paid staff.”  It makes the Old Soldier feel like a real editor/publisher.

Hello, everyone.  The Old Soldier is getting a late start today.  It’s around 1:00 in the afternoon.  The high today in Pittsburgh will be 69 on a lovely, sunny spring day.

I’m paying bills by snail mail, determined to stay within my budget this month.  After doing my breathing and stretching exercises, I’ll take a nice walk down to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh right here in Oakland and renew my copy of Nero League Baseball by Neil Lanctot.

I still haven’t got anything new for my crock pot and I need to give the Matriarch a phone call.  I phoned her a few days ago but she was on the move.

This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.

Keep reading and keep writing that flash fiction.
