The Old Soldier is at his workstation (9:00 am) and the blogging day has begun. I checked the Google ranking for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette this morning for the search term “flash fiction” and the magazine is back at #4 in the world.
And yesterday the PFFG got 423 hits.

Yesterday, I finally began work on my Pennsylvania Property Tax or Rent Rebate Program form. I became eligible when I turned 65 last year. You can pick up the form at your local public library. The form must be received by June 1, 2012. The funds will be distributed on July 1, 2012.

The high will be around 47 today and cloudy in Pittsburgh with a possibility of snow showers. Yesterday, was a non-alcohol day for the Old Soldier; but I think I’ll treat myself to a six-pack of beer today.
