Today is Friday. You know what that means. Karaoke at Del’s tonight. The Old Soldier already shaved his head yesterday and he will shave his face today. Got to clean up for the women.

Today, you will find a new story by a guest writer stuck to the front page. It’s “Making A Sandwich” by Mike Young. I sent Mr. Young his $10.00 publication fee this morning by PayPal. And the story has nothing to do with sex.

Yesterday, the Old Soldier was watching the retro-television station. I saw Richard Gere in American Gigolo and Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink. I saw American Gigolo years ago but that was the first time I saw Pretty in Pink.
Pretty in Pink: don’t you just love those movies about a working-class girl finding true love with a rich boy? I wonder how those marriages work out? Probably like most marriages. Not too good.

Well, the Old Soldier doesn’t know how much more blogging he will get done today. He still has to do his breathing and stretching exercises and do a little housekeeping. I bought a can of stain remover for the carpet and it works pretty good. I work on a little section of the carpet every day.
