The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette pays $10.00 for flash fiction.
Hello, my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and my Flash Fiction Fanatics from all over the world with a special shout-out to readers in Canada. This is the Old Soldier (I’m a Vietnam War Veteran) reporting from Pittsburgh. This online magazine is about a lot of things: sex, current events, writing, blogging, retirement (I’m 65), city life…a lot of things. But at the core of this publication is the flash fiction story.
The Old Soldier got his MFA in fiction writing in 2006 from the University of Pittsburgh because his flash fiction stories won him a K. LeRoy Irvis Fellowship in 2003. The fellowship not only paid for my three years of graduate school, but it also gave me a generous stipend to live on for those wonderful three years.
I know something about flash fiction.

And now that I’m retired and that I’m the editor/publisher of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, I want to publish other flash fiction writers.
Send me literary and mainstream flash fiction stories and stories about sexuality.
Don’t send me stories written in poor english with lots of proofreading errors. Be professional.
