Woman As Art
The job of a writer can be a lonely job. But this magazine is published by a writer for other writers.
Hello, my brother and sister writers. It’s not even 8:00 a.m. and the Old Soldier is already on duty. I take being the editor/publisher of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette seriously. I believe there is a need for a publication of creative ideas, serious writing and brazen sexuality. A magazine that informs and entertains. A magazine that celebrates female sexuality. A Playboy Magazine for writers.
Like any new endeavour, there is the danger of going too far, of being too controversial; but my philosophy is: a fair maiden was never won by a faint heart.

No, this is not a magazine for the faint hearted.
And I would like to give a special shout-out to all the women who read this magazine. You know who you are. The majority of the subscribers to this publication are women. That is truly a compliment for the Old Soldier. I must be doing something right.
Well, the blogging day has just began.
Writers, male and female, the Old Soldier salutes you!
Explore the site. There are nearly 3,000 pieces of content. The archives are over three years old. This is a paying market.
The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is definitely not for everyone; but it may be just right for you.
