In order to cut down on my expenses, I temporarily dropped my subscription to the one adult video site that I subscribe to; but only temporarily.  I hope to re-subscribe in July of this year.  That does not mean the Old Soldier has not been thinking about porn as entertainment and art.

The fact that tens of millions of American men and women buy and watch adult videos means that porn is definitely entertainment.  And the fact that it brings in more billions of dollars in revenue each year than the music and movie industries combined means that porn is definitely an industry, too.  These facts are part of the public record.

Whether or not the best porn is art is still being debated.

The Old Soldier is not naive.  He knows that there is a dark and frightening side to porn; but the site that I subscribe to fascinates me for a couple of reasons: the women are amateurs and most of the time it is obvious that the women have a good time.  Not all of them, but most of them.

It is also obvious that some of these women should not have agreed to be in an adult video.  I guess they really needed the money and porn was the only solution they could come up with.

Most of the performers are attractive eighteen-year-old girls who start out dancing in a nude bar and escorting. On the other hand, there are some women who aren’t too thrilled with the idea. After doing a porn scene, some claimed they felt depressed and empty inside, but they still did it for the money. While some women enjoy sex and gang bang crazy types of porn, others find it degrading and morally corrupt. While there are many porn stars who make it in the business, there are other women who don’t feel comfortable being asked to perform things such as gang rape scenes, anal sex, lesbian action and other sexual taboos that men often fantasize about.

After doing some research, I found that most women in the porn industry tend to enjoy sex more than women who aren’t in the business. The same research found that women who enjoy being in movies or porn videos were  sexually molested and abused as children.  For example, the top porn-star in the world, Jenna Jameson, was gang raped as a teenager and molested by her uncle. She comes from an unstable family without a mother and an abusive father. It’s evident that many women who do porn suffered some psychological trauma in their childhood or while they were growing up. Porn is what it is. Many people, men and women, are visually stimulated by erotic images and there is a huge consumer market for it.

Why Is The PFF Gazette Covering The Adult Industry?

The porn industry is big news.  It is larger than the movie and the music industry combined.  In the United States it entices thousands of women every day to be filmed or taped having sex.  That to me is news.

And then there is the age-old argument of whether or not porn can ever be art.  Well, it obviously is entertainment.

As the editor, publisher of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, I want to cover not only the things that everyone else covers but also the things that they do not cover.  That brings in readers.  I only cover the amateurs, the women who are doing their first on up to around their fifth porn video.  They are not acting.

But I want to cover porn as a legitimate form of entertainment.  Many, many millions of men and women in the United States buy and watch porn.  As an older, heterosexual male I’m trying to get my mind around why so many attractive, articulate and in many cases  well-educated young  (and not so young women) volunteer to have their bodies ravished on camera.  And there are two things that I have found out: they do not feel they are being ravished but are giving as good as they get; or, they like being ravished.  What other publication will offer that insight to you?

Ladies, Answer This Question Before Doing Your First Adult Video

Okay, you’ve got your courage up and you are definitely going to do your first porn video.  How does a woman decide which site to contact?

Here’s my suggestion.  Watch the videos of the sites you are interested in.  Then ask yourself this question: do you get the feeling that the women are belittled for having sex on camera or are they celebrated for having sex on camera?

Then make your choice.

Oh, in the video never give your real name or where you work.  You can say the kind of work that you do but not the company you do it for.  If you are a student don’t give the college that you are attending.  And it is best never to be specific about where you live even if you are shooting your video in your hometown.  Tell the viewing audience that you live in a different city in a different state.

Now pay attention here.  The person or people shooting the video will need to see ID to make sure that you are 18 or whatever age you have to be in the state that you are shooting your video in to prove that you are old enough to be in a porn video.  Your ID will have your real information on it, age, name and address.  The person, or the people, shooting the video needs this information in order to pay you.  But don’t give your real information to the audience who will see your video.

If you do these basic things the chances of anyone in your real life finding your video are pretty slim because there are billions of porn videos on the internet and millions are added every month.  The only way the people in your real life will know that you were in a porn video is if you tell them.

Of course, even with the odds in your favor something like 10 million to one, every once in a while a woman is outted. 

The Old Soldier will never lie to you.

PS Make sure the site actually pays you.  Do your homework.  There are sites out there that are scams.  You suck and fuck and don’t get paid a penny. 

Do your research.

And one more thing.  Be sure to tell someone you trust the address of where you will be and what you will be doing just to be safe.

Many Women In Porn Videos Don’t Have Orgasms

In my reporting on porn videos on the internet, I’ve found out a baffling fact.  Just because a woman is in a porn video does not mean she will have an orgasm during the video.

Do you get the irony here?

The Old Soldier only follows amateurs, the young women (and not so young women) doing their first, second, third or fourth video.  They are not acting.  But often times if they are matched up with just one male talent the women do not have an orgasm, at least not with the man.

Often times these women use a vibrator to have an orgasm.  Let me repeat that.  The women have to use a vibrator to have an orgasm.

The reason that these women don’t have an orgasm with one man is because no matter how hard and often he plunges his erection into the woman’s mouth, butt or vagina the clitoris does not get enough stimulus to make the woman cum.

Now if the woman is in a gang bang she usually has several orgasms (more orgasms in a very short period of time then she will have in her real life) because just the number of erections sliding in and out of her vagina will usually give enough stimulus to her clitoris to make her cum more than once during the video.
