I have a Facebook account but I seldom use it.  I can only imagine the surprise and feelings of broken trust felt by the 500 million users of Facebook when they recently found out that Facebook had sold their personal private information to several third parties.

Facebook has lots of applications that attract users.  Apps for playing games or building family trees or just fun applications for enter-acting with other users.

When a social networking media giant like Facebook assures its users that if they use a privacy setting for their personal information that information will be secure, the users actually believe their personal information is secure.

Facebook now has to begin the process of regaining the trust of its customers…
