How would I describe this online magazine to a stranger?
Hello, all my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and Flash Fiction Fanatics. The Old Soldier is working his way out of a lazy spell and he should be at full power tomorrow. It’s easy to be lazy when you’re retired.
But I love being the editor/publisher of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette and retirement can open up opportunities not available when you are part of the workforce. Retirement allows me to be a full-blogger. And the Old Soldier wants to be the best blogger he can be.
The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette averages over 300 hits every day. I want it to one day average over 400, 500, 600 hits every day. The Old Soldier has work to do.

Three Great Reasons To Publish Here
Woman As Art
One of the first things that a reader will notice about this blog are the many visuals of naked women; but it would be a big mistake to think that the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is just about sex.
The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette reports on current events, blogging, writing, flash fiction and whatever else that I think my readers would be interested in.
So, if you are a writer and you want to get published, consider sending your work here. Just read and follow the guidelines. And you don’t have to write about sex.
There are three tabs at the top of the page for submissions. Anything Goes is for non-fiction. Send Poetry is for poems and Submissions is for fiction. This magazine is a paying market. Previously published work is okay, too.
