One definition of pornography is a work that has no social or artistic value.
As a writer, I can live with that definition.
Hello, bloggers, readers and writers. Have you ever read Fanny Hill or Lady Chatterley’s Lover? For a long time these books were considered very dirty. Not so much today. There is a lot of explicit sex in the books, but many academic and literary circles consider both books classics of their genre.
What is their genre? Victorian literary pornography.
An XXX rated story can be art, too.

Writing: Erotica Does Not Have To Be Dirty

I tell writers who want to submit to the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette that there is no need to use vulgarities and profanities in the erotica they send this blog. And I also want there to be a story about a relationship in any erotic flash fiction that is submitted.
A sexy story should still be about characterization like any other story. It just has sex in it. The stories under Sexy Stories at the top of the page are perfect examples of what I’m looking to publish.
So, if you have something that fits, read the submissions guidelines at the top of the page and send it to me.
