A Flash Fiction Story For The Ladies

The Old Soldier never got married.  What a pity.  I think after I hit the age of forty, I would have made a good husband.  But today I have a link to a new flash fiction short story in which my alter-ego meets his future wife.

A special welcome goes out to all the women who read the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.  Last night I ran this URL through one of those analytic sites and got a breakdown of my readership.  Women as a whole and single women in particular far outnumber men as far as readers of this blog.

So, ladies thank you.  And here’s a photo of me.  I’m in the bandanna at a Doors tribute band concert about 10 years ago.  That would make me around 54 when this photo was taken.  The woman in the photo is the mother of a friend.  I never saw the woman again after the concert.  Everyone was pretty drunk at the concert.

Women, just one time when you masturbate, fantasize about the Old Soldier.  Now here’s your story, Flash Fiction: How I Met My Wife.  Be sure to read the story carefully so that you don’t miss the punchline.
