Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette

As I sit in the lobby of my apartment building before I take my walk, there is plenty of motor traffic outside on the avenue but not much foot traffic.  College students with packs on their backs walk by.  I’m going to pick up the Pittsburgh CityPaper, a free weekly that covers the local political and cultural scene.

When I get back I’ll fix myself a bowl of hot chili and read the paper.  Hot chili will taste good on an overcast day like today.
