Every writers needs some down time. If you find that your life is full of school, job, house-hold chores and family or friends, take it upon yourself to somehow find some free time.
The Old Soldier is not talking about free time to write. We all need that. I’m talking about free time to day dream, to sip a glass of wine in a warm bubble bath, free time to walk through the park on a sunny, warm day as you eat an ice cream cone and listen to the birds in the trees.
That kind of free time. It’s free time to do nothing.
Because if you are able to some how find this free time to do nothing, it may be just the medicine you need to get your creative juices flowing again. So that when you sit down to write, you’ll have something to write about.
