We writers have a wonderful vocation. We try to capture life with our words. And life is made up of joy and pain.
We use our words to share our particular vision of life. It’s a struggle to be a writer, but the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is here to support you.
It is here to support you with entertainment, practical advice about how to write flash fiction, emotional support and at times with publication.
This blog continues to evolve. It began as the journal of a baby boomer. It is now a full-fledged magazine.
Come along for the ride.

You will find erotic, mainstream, literary and one pornographic story on this blog. And you know what? They are all well written stories.
Most critics would say that a flash fiction story is a short story of around 200 to 1,200 words. That’s a pretty general definition. A more specific definition might be that a flash fiction story is a significant even with closure.
Well, definitions are good; but examples are even better. There are dozens of very short stories on this blog. They are great entertainment. And if you just happen to be a flash fiction writer, there is nothing like reading good short fiction to help you take your own writing to the next level.
Welcome to the blog that is about blogging, writing, sexuality and the pain and joy of life.
