A Young Woman Ready For Her Porn Video. In Real Life She’s A Bartender.
The first thing a writer should keep in mind when he or she writes “erotic” anything is that a sex act is not fiction. I’m not talking about dirty stories. I’m talking about erotic literature.
A sex act is just a sex act. A story has a beginning, a middle, an end, a coherent story line, characters who act like real people, narrative movement and so on…
And this may be the most important thing about well written erotica, at least the kind of erotica that I like to publish in this magazine: the characters are motivated by more than just sex even if the motivation is only implied. It’s there.
Now the Old Soldier (that’s me) realizes that these are some high standards and that sometimes a writer (including myself) is more successful at achieving these standards in some stories and not in others; but they are worth aiming for.

Since flash fiction is so short the challenge of achieving these standards is even greater.
Just know that your more selective readers will definitely appreciate your efforts.
The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is a blog for writers. This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.

This Is My Niece Brianna Frost Hogan. She Pole Dances, Strips, Masturbates And Stars In Adult Videos On Her Own Website. She Makes A Very Good Living At It.
Last night the Old Soldier watched an adult video online as he drank some beer. There was a woman, new to the adult industry, being gang banged by seven men as her husband watched.
I am not making this up.
And as I watched her suck and fuck and take it up the butt as she masturbated and moaned and groaned her way through three orgasms, I got a clearer understanding of the core subject matter of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. This online magazine is about art, literature and why more and more women consider being in an online adult video.
If I can succeed in combining these three subjects together as legitimate content for a serious flash fiction publication, the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette will be on the cutting edge of a new kind of online magazine.
Today the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette went over 20,500 hits for October 2012. There are still five more days left in the month.

The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette continues to evolve. “A magazine of adult content and literature” is one way to describe this publication. “The Playboy Magazine of flash fiction” is another way. And how about “A magazine of good writing and brazen sexuality”?
However you describe this publication, it is here to inform and entertain you; and to publish you, too.
Check out the front page. This magazine is definitely not for everyone; but if you like what you see on the front page, click the follow button or take out a free subscription so that you do not miss a single issue. The subscription tab is at the top of the page.

Hello hello hello, my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and my Flash Fiction Fanatics from all over the world! This blog got 475 hits yesterday.
It’s around noon in Pittsburgh on a beautiful, sunny day. The high will be around 70. Today is the day that the Old Soldier takes a nice long walk to the assisted living facility that his younger (around 59) brother lives in. It’s about time that I paid him a visit. He lives about a 30-minute walk away. It will be great exercise for the Old Soldier.
Issues that affect senior citizens is one of the things that the PFFG covers. After all, the Old Soldier is a senior citizen, too.
