I’ve lived in Pittsburgh a long time and there is a whole lot of shakin’ goin’ on.
Hello, bloggers, writers and students, staff and faculty at the University of Pittsburgh. The Old Soldier has kept his eyes open all these years. Hell, I participated. And I took notes. That’s why these stories that I’m about to recommend to you for literary entertainment read like little documentary films.
I know something about film. Years ago, before I got my MFA at Pitt, I was a student and then a member of the Pittsburgh Filmmakers. That experience had a great impact on the show-don’t-tell style of writing that distinguishes the very short stories of the Sexy Stories tab at the top of the page. I hope, dear reader, you are not easily shocked.
