This publication is always looking for writing talent to publish. Well, actually, it’s not the publication that’s looking. I’m looking (the Old Soldier). I’m the editor and publisher of this publication which I think is the most dynamic flash fiction magazine on the internet.
Why would you want to be published here?
Well, this magazine is averaging over 200 hits every day for the month of February. That means when I stick your work to the Front Page, people will see it. And if you provide me with a link to your site or page there is a good chance that you will get some traffic.
There are three submission tabs at the top of the page. Send Poetry is for poetry, Anything Goes is for non-fiction and Submissions is for fiction. I publish mainstream, literary, romance and erotic fiction.
Good luck and keep writing.

Well, I’m getting ready to head outdoors. The snow seems to have stopped but the wind is blowing throw the branches of the trees pretty good. Actually, I have a busy day ahead of me (it’s around 2:00 PM).
I’m going to stop at The Big Idea Bookstore and see what I can find (reading material or writers). And then I’ll stop in Del’s to socialize and then later tonight I’ll stop at Sonny’s Tavern to check out this singer-song writer and this band.
This is the Old Soldier blogging out of Pittsburgh on a wintry afternoon.

Over 5,900 Hits For The Month And Still Counting
A Porn Video Amateur
I love my job. Yes, the Old Soldier may be retired, but he’s working harder and longer hours for himself than he ever worked for anyone else. The Old Soldier has been on duty since the crack of doom. Or is that the crack of dawn? You know what I mean.
How’s everyone doing?
The Old Soldier is giddy with the knowledge that some time today the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette will break through the 6,000 hits ceiling and there are still several days left in February 2012.
You can’t beat that with a stick!
And why wouldn’t people like this quirky news magazine with its editorial mix of articles, commentaries, fiction and sexology?
Welcome to my humble blog.

The book that I got from the library yesterday, COLUMBUS (The Four Voyages) by Laurence Bergreen, is fascinating. For the longest time Columbus thought he had discovered a sea route to China by sailing West; and when he landed in the Caribbean he thought he was in Asia.
Ha ha ha.
You know writing a short story can be a lot like that. You start out writing one story and realize you’ve written another story.
