The military pension that the Old Soldier becomes eligible for later this month will do more than just put more money in his pockets.

Hello, my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and my Flash Fiction Fanatics.  Yes, the Old Soldier turns 65 years old on October 25.  It will be around the 25th that I will file paperwork for my military pension.  That pension will mean that not only will I have more money to pay bills but I will be able to get out more and socialize.  And that means I will have more to write about.

Usually, the more a writer is engaged with life, the more life there will be in his or her writing.
