No, it’s not spring yet. Certainly not in Pittsburgh. But the job of blogging and writing must go on.
I hope everyone is doing well. Here’s a shout out to the University of Pittsburgh which is still on spring break. I was surfing the net last night and ended up watching some videos of The Motels. Remember The Motels? Martha Davis was the lead singer. Of course, I watched and listened to “Only The Lonely” and “It Happened One Summer.” Those were the two big hits; but I punched up a few of their other videos. They were good too. I wrote down the line, “Will you be there” from one of the other videos and thought that I could use it as a title for a flash fiction story some day.
“A Porn Star Is Born” is at the top of the page.
I hope you will make the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette your flash fiction home. There are lots of articles about blogging and writing short stories and there are a lot of flash fiction stories here, too.
Hopefully, you will be able to draw ideas and inspiration from the content on this blog for your own continued journey as a writer.
We’re all in this together.
