Jimmy Page is on the December 2012 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine in all his guitar-rock-god, Led Zeppelin glory. The magazine did an in-depth interview with him…
The Old Soldier (that’s me) has been doing some deep thinking about the direction of this magazine. Deep thinking hurts, but I do it anyway.
I’ve become even more committed to increasing the readership of this blog. So far this month of December 2012 the blog is averaging 1,013 hits every day from all over the world.
I use photos of naked women and reports on the adult industry to bring attention to the blog, but this blog offers far, far more than just sex. And sex is a good thing. There are more porn sites on the Internet than any other kind of site. The Old Soldier is just riding the wave.
My family disapproves of the blog; but none of them are trying to build an online magazine. This magazine got around 5,000 visits in January of this year and around 25, 400 in November.
So, I will take a page from Playboy Magazine and Rolling Stone Magazine, both which were outrageous when they first hit the newsstands, and continue to be the provocateur.

Welcome To Bloggers, Readers And Writers
Woman As Art
Hello, my brothers and sisters from all over the world! It’s the Old Soldier here with another issue of the most exciting flash fiction publication on the Internet.
From time to time I just like to welcome everyone to my little blog. What started out four years ago as the online journal of a lonely baby boomer has turned into a magazine of serious writing and brazen sexuality.
I believe something unique is happening here at the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. Something that you cannot find anywhere else in the world of flash fiction. As of this morning, the PFFG has averaged 674 views every day for September 2012.
In putting together this publication, the Old Soldier has been influenced by many things and many people. To name a few, Playboy Magazine, Lady Gaga, Hunter S. Thompson and Andy Warhol have all had an impact on the contents of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.

So, explore the site. Start with the front page.
I will be the first to admit that the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is not for everyone. But it might be just right for you.
