The Old Soldier fell into his usual bad habit of feast and famine. Well, I did get in two Friday nights of karaoke at Del’s in Bloomfield in Pittsburgh’s “Little Italy” this month already; and now I’ll just have to wait for the first Friday in March.

Guest Writers
I published another guest writer on 13 February 2013. From now on the Old Soldier is going to publish his guest writers throughout the month instead of trying to publish them all in the first week of the month.
That will give readers more to look forward to all month-long.

This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.

Some Of The Kinds Of Flash Fiction That We Publish
Woman As Art
Here at the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, we like to showcase flash fiction about male/female relationships; but there are exceptions to this rule. Oh, we don’t publish fantasy or science fiction. We do publish literary, mainstream and erotica.
And make sure that someone in your story is likeable. This magazine is a paying market.

Hello, all my brother and sister bloggers, readers, writers and my Flash Fiction Fanatics. The Old Soldier is enjoying a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, he has some pasta on the stove in boiling water and he has just come back from a nice walk in this lovely sunny, mild weather.
Summer will soon be gone. But don’t you worry. The Old Soldier will carry on. Keep reading and keep writing that flash fiction.
