Think Of Me As Your Editor

Actually, I am an editor.  I am the editor/publisher of the PFF Gazette.  And if you can write a good short story of between 300 to 700 words I want to publish it.

Why would you want to be published in this online magazine?  Well, it is the most dynamic flash fiction publication on the internet.  Just look around at this site.  Judge for yourself.

And when you submit a story you will get a response in three days.  If your story is accepted it goes up immediately and then after a few days goes into the archives and is in constant rotation to the Home page.  If your story is not accepted, you will be given a short, friendly critique to help you get your next submission accepted for publication.

My brother and sister writers, you can’t beat that with a stick.

So send me something.  Read the submissions guidelines at the top of the page and send me something.

Keep reading and keep writing.

Let no one tell you that being a flash fiction writer is not an honorable vocation.  When flash fiction is good enough, it is art.

She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult

Yes, that’s right.  The Old Soldier is still rockin’ and a rollin’.  Now you have to understand that I grew up with The Beatles, The Animals, The Rolling Stones, The Doors and James Brown, Little Anthony and The Imperials.  The Old Soldier goes way back.  And like most people my age, I’m pretty set in my ways.

But let me tell you.  This local music television station (THECOOLTV) has opened my eyes.  You don’t even need cable to get it.  A converter box will do just fine.  It’s at 22.2.

So, all you writers and Flash Fiction Fanatics, I want to turn you on to a band that the Old Soldier has just discovered.

Yes, this blog is about blogging and sexuality and writing; but it represents the personality of the editor/publisher, too.  That’s me.  And rock and roll defines me as much as writing does.

I have recently discovered The Cult, a 1980s band.  If you know the band, relive the excitement of their biggest hit.

Listen, just go to the front page, put in your ear plugs and rock out.  The video is under the article The Retro-Music Shop Is Open.  Give the video a moment to upload.

You can also find the Old Soldier here: Triond, too.
