Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette

There’s a black cat that hunts outside my window.  I saw the cat again today.  It’s probably a house cat because it looks well fed and cared for; but it also hunts.  I saw the cat as I paced my livingroom carpet.  College basketball was on the television.  As I paced and thought about blogging and writing, I snacked on cheese with hot peppers in it, a tomato, a couple of slices of rye bread and I sipped on a small, plastic container of sweet tea.

Then I saw this black cat below outside my window as it slouched along a wire fence.  The cat seemed to be hunting, searching. 

And the cat reminded me of what it is like to be a writer of flash fiction.

Hello hello hello, my brother and sister readers and writers.

Well, this is the last week of March, the hottest March in Pittsburgh that the Old Soldier can remember.  The Old Soldier already has plans for the first week of April.

There will be the usual commentaries on life, sexology and writing; but there will also be a new short story from a guest writer.  And I also hope to publish another article from the Love Doctor.
