No, the Old Soldier has not had one-too many beers even though I’m writing this at the bar in Armand’s in Little Italy in Pittsburgh. The air conditioning feels great. It’s around noon. I’m retired. That’s why I can drink in a bar around noon and not have to worry about going back to work with beer on my breath. But I do work. I’m a full-time webmaster. Outside, the sun is bright and it’s in the 80s. But I digress. I’ll transcribe this to the magazine later.
Why do I say sex is the most important thing in the world?
Because if you take away sex there would be no sports, no media, no literature, no science, no philosophy, no medicine, not politics, not culture, no nothing because there would be not people.
Of course, the Old Soldier is speaking of sex in cosmic terms. I’m trying to make a point. And what is the point?
The point, my brother and sister readers and writers, is that there is definitely a place on the world-wide web for a magazine that is committed to creative writing, culture and sex as art and entertainment.
Welcome to the New Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.
