The Old Soldier is feeling guilty after several days of chowing down on a corned beef brisket, fish and cheese.
So it’s back to eating vegetarian for a few days. I have plenty of dry goods (spaghetti, beans and noodles) in the apartment, but maybe I should take a walk to Bloomfield (Little Italy) and buy some fresh vegetables. Maybe it’s time to get back to eating salads.

Even though the high will be in the low 40s today, there will be plenty of sunshine. I’m look forward to getting in a good walk and visiting the public library.

Notes From The Flash Fiction Underground
The Old Soldier With A Friend At A Doors Tribute Band Concert About 12 Years Ago
It’s around 5:30 in the afternoon and the Old Soldier has already broken his pledge to eat vegetarian for the next few days. I had a salami sandwich.
Well, I’m stretched out on the sofa with a couple of fat pillows under my weary head as I wait for the six o’clock national and international news on public television to give me an idea to blog about, like the Occupy Movement.
Most of the encampments of the Occupy Movement have been torn down; but don’t despair. The tyranny of the 1% is not going to disappear and I predict neither will the Occupy Movement.
