Hello, my reading and writing friends and my Flash Fiction Fanatics.  The Old Soldier was just stretched out on the sofa with notebook and pen in hand and watching afternoon Major League Baseball on Fox on television, trying to come up with some original content for another post.

I was stuck.

But being stuck is not always a bad thing.  Being stuck gives me an opportunity to remind everyone who reads or writes flash fiction just how useful this blog can be.
